A little while ago,Microsoft started testingsome new inking capabilities in the Windows 10 Mail and Calendar App with Windows Insiders. Those same features are now rolling out to all Windows 10 users and should now be showing up after visiting the Microsoft Store and updating to the latest version of the app (viaMSPoweruser.)

We can see this feature on two of our Windows 10 devices here, and we must say that it is pretty cool. You can find the features in version 16005.10325.20091.0 of the Windows 10 Mail and Calendar App. To enjoy, simply tap on new mail, enter in who you are sending to, and then click on the Draw tab. You can then click in the body of the email, and click on on “Drawing Canvas” to ink your message. There are multiple pen types, and a highlighter to choose from, and also an eraser.

The inked messages are sent as a PNG file, and the recipient can download them as he/she pleases. It’s a nice feature that shows off the power of Windows Ink, so be sure to update now, and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
