After introducing sub-tasks support in Microsoft To-Do earlier this year, Microsoft has started rolling out a new list sharing feature on all platforms today. List sharing allows you to share any list with your friends and colleagues, and you’ll see the new icon in the top right of the app for creating an invitation link.

If you use Microsoft To-Do with a personal Microsoft account, you can share your lists with anyone else with a personal Microsoft account. Those with work and school accounts will only be able to share lists with people in the same organization.

After creating an invite link, To-Do users will remain in control with options for limiting access to limiting access to current members or turn List sharing off. The Redmond giant notes that shared lists should “automatically update it in seconds,” and it’s a feature that should be really handy for both personal and work-related tasks.

Microsoft says that all List Sharing should be available to everyone this week, though as of this writing we’re seeing on all platforms except Android. Is To-Do now good enough for your needs, or do you think the app still lacks some power user features? Let us know in the comments below.
