Most media attention was focused on Microsoft shipping out the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update to consumers, but there is also an IoT version as well. The company todaytook to their Internet of Things blogto detail what’s new with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update for IoT.

Overall, Microsoft is giving IoT developers the necessary tools to put together the pieces and technologies “needed to make a full solution.” With the Fall Creators Update, Windows 10 IoT features Richer .NET API surface for UWP apps, Assigned Access in Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, updated language capabilities on Windows 10 IoT Core and user mode bus access on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise.
