Going into a strong Fall line up of games including Forza Horizon 4, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Fallout 76, Microsoft’s Xbox team sees an opportunity to gin up its user base with a renewed promotion.
According to apress release from the Xbox team, itsJump Incampaign of old is making a comeback and to ring in this new fan-oriented event, the gaming division released several new promotional videos highlighting its gaming community and the games being played on Xbox.
Holding true to the roots of Jump in from years past, it reminds us that gaming is all about human energy, community, and fun. It reminds us that we’re all born to play; that the very act of gaming is based on an intrinsic need. It’s how we learn, achieve and connect with others. Today, Jump in is an open invitation to all gamers and Xbox is committed to delivering more choice and to make gaming more accessible to more people with great games, new experiences, and more ways to play.
As the directory of Xbox integrated marketing Craig McNary notes, “gaming is better than ever.” In spite of decades-long branded console wars amongst Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft; gamers as a whole, are benefiting from a concerted effort on the part of all console makers, studio developers, and 3rd party distributors recently.
Microsoft’s resurrectedJump Incampaign looks to refocus the attention paid to gamers and the various anecdotes that help to shape the overall community.
