The upcoming Xbox One 1902 system update is rolling out today to Xbox Insiders on the Omega Ring. Now that the Preview Beta, Delta and Omega Insider rings have all received this new software update, we should be pretty close to general availability.

Insiders, we are expanding 1902 to Omega today at 2PM PST. Additionally, we are sending another 1904 build to Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead. Thanks all!https://t.co/mf6PQwsM8b

The Xbox One 1902 system update is a minor release that doesn’t bring any new features to the table. According to the Xbox team, this is all about “various general system fixes and improvements,” and today’s blog post about the Omega ring availability doesn’t share further details.

To get new features, we’ll have to wait for the upcoming 1904 update, which is currently in testing with Insiders on the Preview Alpha and Skip Ahead rings. So far, the latest 1904 preview builds have introduced two new features, afloating mini keyboardand the ability toreprogram the OneGuide button on the Xbox Media Remote. We’re hoping to see the team add more over the next couple of weeks, and maybetomorrow’s Inside Xbox episodewill be a good opportunity to announce some new features.
