Cuphead, after being stuck in development hell for years, has finally gotten a release date announced. The iconic looking 2D platformer will be launching on September 29th, just a few months away. For those who have been waiting what seems like forever for this truly unique title, this is a huge deal.

We didn’t get much more today in the way of gameplay, but that’s understandable considering we’ve gotten gameplay every E3 for the past couple of years. All we can do now is hope that, when the game finally comes out this September, it’s going to meet its massive expectations.
