Xbox Cloud Gaming is now available on consoles, Microsoft shared viaXbox Wireon Wednesday. Any players with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription onXbox Series X,Xbox Series Sor Xbox One can now start streaming Cloud games available in the library.
Xbox Cloud Gaming allows players to try a game without installing it, or streaming a game in order to save SSD space for current-generation titles. Xbox Cloud Gaming also allows Xbox One owners to play current-generation games, with Microsoft Flight Simulator being added to the service in early 2022.
While the Xbox first-party lineup in 2021 consisted mainly of cross-generation titles, this period is ending, with Arkane Austin’s vampire-hunting titleRedfalland Bethesda Game Studios' science-fiction role-playing gameStarfieldare slated to arrive sometime in Summer 2022 and on Nov. 11, 2022 respectively. Both titles are exclusive to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC, meaning an Xbox One owner that doesn’t want to or can’t upgrade can use Xbox Cloud Gaming to play them.
Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold in one
Xbox Game Pass gives you access to over 200 games for one monthly fee. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate also adds Xbox Live Gold to the package so you can play online with your friends. You also get access to EA Play.
