In order to highlight the accomplishments of women in the gaming industry, Microsoft is announcingthe 17th Women in Gaming Luncheon. The event will take place on March 2nd, and will be held during the 2017 GDC (Game Developers Conference) in San Francisco’s Moscone Center. The theme is going to be “Be You,” and will celebrate the individuality and unique offerings brought to the table by every female game developer.
Team Xbox is committed to empowering women to do the job they love. This year we will host our biggest luncheon ever with women from across the gaming world. Thanks to feedback from our community, we will be creating a more inclusive event that allows for stronger connections to be developed. Join us as we come together to celebrate you, just as you are.
Are you a woman in game design that has something to say to your peers? Microsoft is looking for speakers to fill the event with a bit more content. If you’re interested, you just need to check out the criteria and send over a submission to the Xbox team. If you’re lucky, they’ll send you an invite to the event so you can do a bit of speaking.

Radu Tyrsina has been a Windows fan ever since he got his first PC, a Pentium III (a monster at that time).
For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
