Windows 10’s Edge browser FINALLY gets a fullscreen mode

It’s been just over two years since its launch butMicrosoft’s Edge internet browserhas finally added a proper fullscreen option this week with therollout of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

A fullscreen option for Edge has been a long time coming as its predecessor, Internet Explorer, had it inWindows 8. Bizarrely, Edge’s fullscreen mode still lacks all of the functionality of Internet Explorer’s as there is currently no way to pull up the browser’s address bar to change websites while the mode is activated. Users currently need to exit fullscreen mode every time they want to search or enter a website address.
