TheWindows 10 WhatsApp apphas just updated to Version 2.17.114 and has brought back text status updates after replacing them with the new Snapchat/Instagram Story-esque feature in the previous update. To use these basic text status updates now, users will need to go into the Profile settings and edit the appropriate text field.
WhatsApp is a free communications app that can be used to send text and multimedia messages to other users as well as making voice calls. Many people use WhatsApp because it can be much cheaper for many users especially when used over a Wi-Fi connection.
