We already know that Microsoftrecently rebranded the Windows Storeto the Microsoft Store, but turns out there are likely more changes ahead. Judging from recent leaks, Windows 10 users may soon be able to purchase Surface hardware via the Microsoft Store app on Windows 10 PCs (via Windows Central.)

Discovered by the well known Microsoft leaker WalkingCat, a user can right now type a specific command into the Windows 10 run dialog box and get to a hidden area of the Microsoft Store app to purchase Surface hardware. With the hidden area still including support for Windows Hello at checkout, and other Microsoft account features, it is evident that Microsoft will soon be using the Microsoft Store app to sell much more than games and apps.

Again, since the use of a run command is necessary, please be aware that this feature is not publicly available on the Microsoft Store app as of yet. It’s not certain when Microsoft will officially roll out an update to enable this feature, but it might as well be coming soon now that it has come to light.
