Microsoft just released build 14393.479 for Insiders on the Release Preview ring. The new build is available on bothWindows 10PC andMobile, and Insiders can download it right now. This release updates Windows 10 versions 14393.447 and 14393.448 for PC and Mobile.

Microsoft released the new build in form of a cumulative update. Its changelog is still unavailable, so we assume the new build only addresses some known bugs. The update is dubbed KB3201845 on Microsoft’s knowledge base website.

We’re not surprised with the fact that there’s no changelog. Microsoft rarely releases update notes for cumulative updates. However, if the company decides to release the changelog, it should arrive in a few days. If Microsoft does make the changelog available to public, it will probably appear in Windows 10’s Feedback Hub. As soon as we have more information, we’ll get you updated.

The cumulative update is for now only available to Insiders on the Release Preview ring. Those on the Production Ring (non-Insiders) should receive the update in a few weeks during December’sPatch Tuesday. Although we don’t know what changes the new update brings, we certainly hope it will resolve at least some ofthe known issues caused by previous cumulative updatesfor Windows 10.

In case you’ve already installed build 14393.479, let us know in the comments if you’ve noticed any changes.
