Welcome back to our Windows 10 news recap. We are continuing the trend of our weekly “Windows 10 news recap” series where we go over the top stories of the past week in the world of Microsoft’s flagship operating system.
VBScript now disabled by default on Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10 build 16237, security patch coming to other Windows versions
On the latest build for Windows 10 Insiders on build 16237,Internet Explorer 11 now has VBScript disabled by default. Additionally, those on older versions of Windows will see VBScript disabled by default in a future security patch. For many, this will help make Internet Explorer 11 that little bit securer, as VBScript is often an attack vector.

Some new Surface Pros are randomly hibernating, Microsoft is investigating
An annoying issue has cropped up onsome new Surface Pro devices whereby the device will simply hibernaterandomly. Microsoft has said that it is investigating the issue. Around 300 users have reported the issue, with some reports of data loss.
