Microsoft Store on Windows 10 gains new “Devices” tab dedicated to Windows PCs and hardware
To help users on Windows 10 discover new Windows PCs and hardware, as well as make it easier to purchase and pre-order,Microsoft has added a new “Devices” tab to the Microsoft Store appon Windows 10.
Twitter app for Windows 10 is back from the dead, and is now a PWA
While many have seen how Twitter’s official app on Windows 10 had become abandoned, it seems that Twitter has come back with a vengeance. It hasreleased a whole new version of the appthat is a Progressive Web App (PWA). The only downside is that it has no dark mode, something that many relished when Twitter first released it to the web edition of the social network.
Skype “classic” for Windows desktop is once again available to download
After removing the classic version of Skype last month due to a security issue,Microsoft has now brought it back againand it is now available to download, coming in at version 7.41.
Microsoft reduces “offline time” for Windows 10 featured updates to an average of 30 minutes
To reduce downtime during Windows 10 updates,Microsoft has made a number of improvementswhich has seen the average time that a user cannot use their Windows 10 machine during updates down to 30 minutes.
