Usersreported on RedditthatWindows 10v1903 sometimes causes loss ofWi-Ficonnectivity. For example, one user indicated that this problem may appear on older computers:
Some older computers may experience loss ofWi-Ficonnectivity due to an outdated Qualcommdriver. An updatedWi-Fidrivershould be available from your device manufacturer (OEM).To safeguard your upgrade experience, we have applied a hold on devices with this Qualcommdriverfrom being offeredWindows 10, version 1903, until the updateddriveris installed.
So, the issue as described here by Qualcomm appears because the device and/or itsdriversare outdated. Rest assured, this issue does not occur because there is an inherent problem in this respect with the recentWindows 10, version 1903.
Therefore, you need to first install the latest version of thedriver, and only then install theupdate.
Unfortunately, this solution may not work for all users.
Wi-Fi connectivity issues after Windows v1903
The OP added that thedriverwas updated to the latestdriverfound, but still encountered some issues:
mywificonnected like for 2 minutes and then i couldn’t open anything on any browser or spotify or check for updates or anything. But it said I had internet access, weird.
The issues appear to be related to somedriversettings, and not to the internet connection itself. In any case, Microsoft has yet to offer an official explanation for this problem.
Have you encountered any issues with your Qualcommdriverafter the recentWindows 10update? Let us know in the comment section below.
