Microsoft just released the new build 14977 forWindows 10 Mobile. Unlike the majority of Windows 10 builds, this one was released for Mobile only. Reportedly, the PC release is delayed because a bug that could result in breaking apps. As soon as Microsoft resolves the issue, the build will be released for PC as well.
The biggest highlight of Windows 10 Mobile Insider build 14977 is the introduction of an EPUB reader for Microsoft Edge. Beginning with this release, Insiders will be able to read unprotected EPUB books in their default mobile browser. This feature is alreadyavailable on Windows 10.
The defaultEPUB readeralso has some customization options. Users are able to change font size and themes and there are three themes available: light, sepia, and dark.
The EPUB reader forMicrosoft Edgeis the only major new feature introduced with this build. Microsoft also addressed a huge number of known issues and bugs in build 14977. However, as iss normally the case, the new build also causes some issues to Insiders who install it.
