Last month,Microsoft was running a Game Pass promotionwhere one lucky gamer could have the chance to win a 24-karat gold-plated Xbox One X. Well, the winner has finally come out on the internet, and you can now see him unbox his very special (and very expensive) gold-plated Xbox One X console (via Reddit.)

The winner, who is going by the name of Anthony Stewart, just uploaded the unboxing video to YouTube. He apparently just received the special gold-plated Xbox One X today, after getting an email from 3 weeks ago to inform him that he won. Oddly enough, the email went to his spam box, so he almost missed out on this incredible opportunity.

Microsoft did not publish photos or videos of the special console during the initial promotion, so this is the first time we’ve actually seen it in real life. The box is otherwise standard, but included is a special handwritten note from the Xbox team. You can also tell how shiny the console and controller actually are, and how heavy it appears to be.

This is a pretty cool unboxing video, if not one of the most golden videos on YouTube. It also isn’t the only golden news of the day since Microsoft just announced the French team “Herr Crew”won the Sea of Thieves golden bananas quest. We congratulate Anthony on winning this very special Xbox and invite you to let us know what you think of this console by dropping us a comment below.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
