Microsoft’seducation media event todayhas been killing it ways announcers have shown the new system will help to innovate in the classrooms and implement new technologies into learning. One such feature that is planned to release on Windows 10 for the Fall calendar school year is the View Mixed Reality. Microsoft feels that the ability to show live scale 3D models in comparison to reality will build on educational experiences.
View Mixed Reality lets the user view 3D content and models through the device’s screen. Teased as being ‘available in a wide range of experience’, Microsoft says that this feature will be available for any classroom Windows 10 PC with an RGB camera including just using a plugged in webcam.
This is similar to the ‘Magic Window’ feature we’ve seen in the past. Originally, it was suspected we’d see this feature rolled out with the Windows 10 Creators Update (seen in the video above) but it looks like it was just a little delayed. It’s not yet known if this feature will be limited to the classroom through Windows 10 S yet or if we’ll see it publicly available for use.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
