What you need to know
Total War: Warhammer 3is on the way and while the game sports six factions for everyone to play as, there’s a seventh. Unlike the stalwart forces of Cathay and Kislev or the unending terror of the four Chaos Gods' factions, this race is just hungry. Very, very, very hungry. The Ogre Kingdoms are coming to Total War: Warhammer 3 as a preorder bonus, though they’ll also be available for anyone who purchases the game within the first week of launch.
The Ogre Kingdoms technically made their debut in the series with the arrival of mercenaries in Total War: Warhammer 2. These were standalone expensive units for hire however, not a full faction.Total War: Warhammer 3 may realize the vision of the tabletop game, as a post-launch update will allow anyone who owns all three games to connect them into one huge campaign. Depending on how the launch goes, this may end up as one of thebest PC gamesavailable in 2022.
Total War: Warhammer 3 is slated to launch on Feb. 17, 2022. Asannouncedon Thursday, the game will be available day one onXbox Game Passfor PC, while past games and DLC in the series are being added to the Microsoft Store sometime in the future.
The Ruinous Powers awaken
Total War: Warhammer 3 promises an incredible amount of content for players to enjoy. If you preorder, you’ll also get the Ogre Kingdoms race pack. Best of all, if you have the first two games, you’ll be able to combine them sometime after launch into one ultra-Warhammer campaign.
