The Golden Joystick Awards 2021 voting is now live

GamesRadar is again holding the annual Golden Joystick Awards. This year, there’s an extra couple of categoies in celebration of 50 years of gaming. This year’s awards include games likePsychonauts 2andResident Evil Village. Voting is now open at theofficial websiteand will remain open until Nov 5, so you’ve got a couple of weeks from the announcement to make your selections.

“This year’s Golden Joystick Awards is really special, since we’ll be celebrating 50 Years of Games, and the launch of the world’s first commercially available coin-op, Computer Space in November 1971,” explains content director Daniel Dawkins. “You can look forward to a sweeping retrospective of the industry we love so much - including some of its most-loved games and faces - plus an evolution of our virtual-stage from last year’s show. To cap it all, we’ll be inviting people to vote for their Ultimate Game of All Time and Best Gaming Hardware of All Time - which I’m sure won’t be contentious at all.”

Additionally, there’s two final categories that are new this year. Voting for these two awards opens on Nov. 8 at 7:00 a.m PT / 10 a.m. ET. These two awards are:

Voting for these two awards will be available until Nov. 12 at 7:00 p.m ET. The winners from both voting sessions are being announced during the digital awards show on Nov. 23, 2021.
