The Alcatel Idol 4s came out almost a year ago and provided a relatively well-received Windows 10 Mobile experience for the people who still wanted to jump on Microsoft’s mobile train. Strangely enough, it seems like the device isabout to be released in Germany, under the name “Idol 4 Pro.”

The news was discovered by German website Windows United, which also tapped into some rumors about pricing. If Windows United is right, the Alcatel Idol 4 Pro will be launching in Germany on July 1st and will run for €599 – which seems strange, considering the phone has dropped below $300 in most places.
We don’t know anything about whether or not the Idol 4 Pro will be releasing with a VR kit like it did elsewhere, but it would be surprising if it didn’t, considering the hefty price point that’s rumored. You can keep an eye out for more solid news soon since the phone’s release date is well on its way.
