The Minecraft for Windows 10 app has received an important update today, especially if you own one of the first Windows VR headsets released last month. While the game could already be played as a 2D app in Windows Mixed Reality, today’s update brings the full Minecraft VR experience which was already available on other VR platforms.

“We’ve already dabbled in VR with our support for the Oculus Rift and Gear VR. Now, Windows Mixed Reality brings you even more options to 3D-ify your crafty fun, and requires next to no set-up,” explained developer Mojang. “Just plug the headset into the USB slot and you’re good to go.”

In addition to full VR support, the version 1.2.5 of Minecraft also bringsbuilt-in support for Mixer live-streamingon Windows 10, Xbox One and Android today. You can now launch a Mixer broadcast from within Minecraft and easily interact with other players, and the Mixer team has created adedicated mapto try this new feature.
