Microsoftinstead posted a So Long and Thank You noteon the blog, saying that the entire Coding4Fun Blog has been possible because of the community. Have a look at the full note below:
Thank you x 1,000…! Today is the last for the Coding4Fun Blog. We’ve had an awesome run, but times change. This blog was all that it was because of YOU! Those whos projects and posts that were highlighted, those who left comments and our readers. It’s all of you that made this blog so awesome, you were the power behind it all. Again, and finally, thank you!
This is very sad news for those who may have frequented Coding4Fun, and it’s still not certain why. We hope more information may come to light soon, and if it does, we will pass it along.

Radu Tyrsina has been a Windows fan ever since he got his first PC, a Pentium III (a monster at that time).
For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
