Rise of Nations, a beloved RTS game from days gone by, is getting support for Windows 10. While many people may have moved on to more modern RTS experiences like Starcraft 2, those who are interested in a return to the genre’s roots can find home here.

This is just part of the news, however. It was also showed off at Gamescom that Rise of Nations is getting cross-play support between Windows 10 and Steam users, giving a little bit of extra juice to the re-release’s introduction to the online community. Here’s hoping that it ends up getting the love that it deserves, as one of the big RTS grand-daddies.
