Sales for the original Titanfall are being discontinued, developer Respawn Entertainmentsharedon Wednesday. The game will no longer be sold on Xbox One or PC starting today, while it will be pulled from subscription services on March 1, 2022. Titanfall’s servers will be kept online however, so if you buy the game before then or already own it, you’ll be able to continue to play it with no issue.

Respawn notes as part of the announcement that Titanfall is still part of the studio’s “DNA.” Titanfall 2 is not being affected by this move.

“Rest assured, Titanfall is core to Respawn’s DNA and this incredible franchise will continue, today in Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends, and in the future,” the announcement reads. “This franchise is the north star for the caliber of experiences we will continue to create here at Respawn.”

Titanfall is one of the games that has receivedXbox FPS Boostsupport, allowing users onXbox Series X to play at 120 FPS.
