PowerShell, Microsoft’s powerful command line interface for Windows, was originally released back in November of 2006. To celebrate its 10 year anniversary, Microsoft is holding a day longPowerShell Celebration Event on Channel9, and everyone from across the world is invited to join in and watch the live stream on November 14th .
The live stream event will feature segments about PowerShell and SQL, PowerShell and Azure, and the directions PowerShell can go in the future. You also will be able to hear from PowerShell team members, and hear about how PowerShell has evolved over the last 10 years. Of course, there also will be live demonstrations which show off how to use PowerShell for Minecraft, and how it can be used for everyday stuff such as controlling sprinklers, an IOT-based Theramin, and even a Tesla.
