Microsoft is havinga big sale today only on Windows Mixed Reality headsets, as part of their annual “12 Days of Deals.” We’ve had a chance to play around a bit with one of these devices, the Lenovo Explorer, and our own Arif Bacchuscame away impressed.
But it’s still early in the AR/VR game. Microsoft is making big bets on the future of the platform, beginning with the introduction of HoloLens back in January of 2015, and continuing on by building in 3D graphics capabilities and Windows Mixed Reality interfaces all over Windows 10.
So, are you sold? Are you asking Santa for a Windows Mixed Reality device this year? Is it still too early? Take our poll below and let us know where you stand.
Take Our PollOf course, if you’re giving rather than getting, or hoping to get, tell us about that, too. You canhead over to the Microsoft Storeto pick yourself (or that lucky someone close to you) a great deal on one of these headsets, check outArif’s posts on the Lenovo Explorer, or just let us know your thoughts in the comments below
