Plex News brings 190 video news sources to Xbox One consoles

The Xbox One Plex app has just added the newPlex Newsfeature which allows users to view video content from 190 different news sources.

Some of the news providers include major brands such as AP, IGN, Reuters, and The Financial Times however over 100 of them are smaller local channels. Plex News is available to view for free by anyone with the Plex app installed on their Xbox One. A Premium subscription isn’t required as the news content is supported by ads.

Plex users can customize their own news sources so those who might want less Vox and more Sky News should have little to worry about.

TheXbox One Plex app can already be used to watch live TV, movies, and TV shows and the addition of Plex News makes it even more feature-packed. Are you a Plex user? Let us know how you use the app in the comments below.
