When we made the switch from WinBeta.org to OnMSFT.com, we needed to move away from our (free) legacy Gmail custom domains setup (yeah, we know – Google, ugh!) to a paid solution, and Office 365 was pretty much a no brainer. For about $5 per user per month, which is what Google charges now for custom domain email, and a lot less than Dropbox charges for storage, we got both custom email, 1TB of storage, and a lot more withOffice 365 Business Essentials.

So, we’ve been using Office 365 mail for some time, now, but last week we celebratedthe launch of Microsoft Teamsby moving from our combination of Trello for workflow and Hipchat for internal communications to Teams and Microsoft Planner.

We’re still getting used to the new system, and while some things are better, to be honest some things aren’t. One advantage of jumping on theMicrosoft Teams/Plannerbandwagon early, though, is that we’re expecting lots of upgrades, some of them coming in the near future.

We’ll be telling you lots more about Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Planner, and Office 365 in the days and weeks ahead, but for now we’re happy to announce that OnMSFT is truly On Microsoft!
