Established in 2010, Ola Cabs is one of the leading cab aggregator services in India. Similar to Uber, Ola is in fact the company’s biggest rival in the market.
While Ola Cabs has had an app for Windows phone since long, responding to our reader@rianext06on Twitter, the company has shared that it has stopped any further development for Windows platform.
The app is still available on the Windows Store and will continue to work with existing features. However, no new updates or feature additions will be available for Windows devices. For example, Ola Share Pass, a recent offering of Ola Cabs, is not available on the Windows app.
For a lot of users, especially in cities where Uber is not available, this would be a disappointing news. Incidentally, the Uber app in India too is limited and hardly gets any new features. The user experience too is dated and not updated to match the recent refresh on Android and iOS.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
