Users on the Office Insider Slow ring have just received several new features for theirMicrosoft Office appswith Build 17.8067. With this new build of the Office apps onWindows Mobile, Insiders will now be able to insert links to files and websites inExcel,Word, andPowerpointas well as collaborate on files in Excel. Excel has also been given added support for files that contain ink.

The Office apps onAndroidhave also updated to Build 16.0.8027.1002 with the same updates as Windows Mobile.

Collaborative Editing essentially allows for more than one user to work on a single document at the same time with all changes being synced through the cloud. “You and your colleagues can open and work on the same Excel workbook,”Microsoft explains. “This is called co-authoring. When you co-author, you can see each other’s changes quickly — in a matter of seconds. And with certain versions of Excel, you’ll see other people’s selections in different colors.”

Radu Tyrsina has been a Windows fan ever since he got his first PC, a Pentium III (a monster at that time).

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
