Back in Augustof this year, we reported on rumors which indicated that Microsoft had plans to better integrate Office 365 into Windows 10 with an “Office Hubs” feature. A little over two months later, it would appear that these rumors are true, asPetri.com has learnedthat a new Office Hub is now showing up:

According to Petri, the updated Get Office app for Windows Insiders now allows you to manage your Office 365 subscription (without a web browser!) and access content which is used most often. This is significantly different from the non-insider Get Office app which rather acts as one big ad for downloading and installing Office 365. Additionally, you also can use the updated Get Office App to download and install individual Office programs, and view your subscription expiration date. which once again was only accomplished via a web browser.

As seen in our screenshot above, there is some extra reason to believe that this may indeed Office Hub. While the app shows up titled as “Get Office (Beta)” looking at the app in the task manager reveals the application name “Office Hub Application.” While it is just a small change, all it takes to use the updated Get Office App (or Office Hub) is toinstall the latest Windows InsiderBuild, and open the Get Office app.

Did you notice this change in the Get Office app? As always, let us know your thoughts by dropping us a comment below!
