Alongside the generalannouncement of the April 11th availabilityof the Windows 10 Creators Update, Microsoft today also released theXbox One March Update, delivering quite a few changes to the gaming console. Assome have worried about in the past, one of these changes is the dropping of the much beloved Snap Mode. While some may be upset because of the removal of the feature, the head of Xbox Mike Ybarra has revealed that a Picture in Picture mode for TV (PiP iswidely rumored to be areplacement to Snap) is not available for Xbox One “at this time,” but you can vote for one.

We’re not planning PiP for TV at this time. Please vote for feature and we’ll monitor.https://t.co/nsPSE78wKVhttps://t.co/F9J2AQaNLU

As seen in the Tweet above, Mike Ybarra is encouraging users who really want to multi-task and watch their TV shows while playing games on their consoleto head hereto vote on the Xbox User Voice forum. Given the results of theXbox Insider Program, Microsoft clearly values the feedback of gamers. So, if you really want to see the Picture in Picture feature, it’s best to vote and hope that the feature picks up traction to come to both both TV and UWP apps on Xbox One. Mike Ybarrahad also previously mentionedthat Snap was replaced because it improves multi-tasking reduces memory use and helps the overall speed in the Xbox experience, so there might as well be bigger things ahead.

Do you miss the Snap feature which allowed you to multitask and expand the way you use the Microsoft gaming console, as well as open apps side by side? Which multi-tasking features do you want to see on your Xbox One? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
