Since Microsoft announced earlier this week thatTimeline would finally be available for testingwith the next Redstone 4 build, we’ve been really looking forward to try this new feature. Unfortunately, Head of the Windows Insider Program Dona Sarkar has just tweeted that a bug with UWP apps is preventing the team from releasing a new build today:
#WindowsInsiderswe’ve hit a bug that prevents UWPs from opening so we will not be flighting a new build today. Have a great weekend! ❤️

It’s certainly not the first time that a blocking bug forces the team to delay the release of a new build, but make no mistake, there are definitely some fun times ahead. In addition to Timeline, tabs for UWP apps (aka “Windows Sets”) will also be tested with select Fast Ring Insiders over the coming weeks, and this is really one of the most exciting features to be added to Windows 10 since launch. It’s really exciting to be a Windows Insider these days, and we hope we won’t have to wait too long to get a new Redstone 4 build.
