The Xbox team has been dangling its new Avatar platform in front of users fora little over a year now.
Xbox Insiders have beentoying with the new platform since Juneof this year, but it appears the developer team is ready to empower all Xbox One users with the new Avatar personalization features.
According to a new Xbox Insider YouTube episode, all Xbox One users can expect to officially see the new Avatar platform as soon as October 2018.
The new Avatar platform is being billed as more inclusive of character diversity with new creative designs, better animations and higher visual fidelity.
Now that there has been a date set for release, the next important question for the development team is, if and how they plan to port paid or exclusive content from the original Avatar platform to the new one.
