Minecraft betas have been a mainstay for years, allowing Mojang Studios to test upcoming updates and features with the most dedicated Minecraft players before releasing them to the greater community. The Minecraft: Bedrock Edition beta program is currently undergoing the biggest change in years, but that isn’t stopping Mojang from releasing another new beta with a fresh batch of fixes and tweaks for players to test.
Minecraft: Bedrock Edition Beta 1.18.20.25 is now rolling out to players on Xbox, Windows, and Android devices, and is a pretty standard release with a couple dozen fixes and technical changes. There are also new fixes forThe Wild Update, the upcoming Minecraft release that will feature new biomes, mobs, and much more when it drops later in 2022.
For players that are already participating in early tests ofMinecraft Preview, which is slated to replace the aging Minecraft: Bedrock Edition beta programandexpand it to new platforms, this beta build will arrive in the near future. The changelog should be identical, but the version number may look different when Minecraft: Bedrock Edition Beta 1.18.20.25 makes its way to Minecraft Preview.
