AsMinecraft Live 2021fades into the past, Mojang Studios continues to work on delivering 1.18Caves and Cliffs UpdatePart Two to Minecraft players all over the world before the end of 2021. To that end,Minecraft: Bedrock Edition Beta 1.18.0.24is now rolling out to all Minecraft beta testers on Xbox, Windows, and Android devices.

The newMinecraftbeta doesn’t include any great new features or changes, as expected this late in the game. Instead, Beta 1.18.0.24 focuses on further bug fixes, tweaks, and a general dedication to polish before the 1.18 update releases to all players on every platform. As such, this isn’t a terribly exciting update, but does indicate that we’re nearing ever closer to a public release in the next few weeks or months.

Of course, this beta doesn’t includeanymention ofThe Wild Update, which is the next major Minecraft feature update slated for release at some point in 2022. The Wild Update will follow 1.18 Caves and Cliffs Update Part Two with lots of new features and improvements, including the arrival of The Deep Dark, but is still months away from showing itself to Minecraft players.

Even without The Wild Update, though, Minecraft is solidly one of thebest Xbox gamesyou can play, and steadily improves with the release of betas and updates like this one. As we near Black Friday 2021, we’re already seeing the beginning ofMinecraft Black Friday deals, so you can start your Holidays shopping early!
