Microsoft is launching its Surface Hub digital whiteboard in Hong Kong today, which will be the first area in the Greater China region where businesses can get the company’s digital whiteboard (via theSouth China Morning Post). In addition toSurface Hub, Microsoft is also launchingMicrosoft 365in Hong Kong today, its new enterprise offering including Office 365, Windows 10 and Enterprise Mobility + Security.

In apress release, Alain Crozier, chairman and CEO of Microsoft Greater China shared some interesting facts about Surface Hub adoption:

Surface Hub is as transformative to group productivity as the PC was for individuals. More than 50% of Fortune 100 companies now use Surface Hub to capture new ideas and improve collaboration and productivity. In Hong Kong, companies including conglomerates, utility companies and international tech consultancy firms are early adopters of the Surface Hub.

Back in May, Microsoftrevealedthat Surface Hub was currently being used by more than 2,000 customers in 24 markets across the world, up from 500 customers in July 2016. “Microsoft recognizes the demand for a modern workplace that is digitally-connected, inclusive and engaging, yet secure,” explained Crozier. So far, it seems that Surface Hub is delivering exactly that to businesses around the world.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
