What you need to know
AT&T has announcedthat it will begin selling theSurface Go 3with 4G LTE on January 7, with pricing starting at $729. Microsoft announced that the Surface Go 3 would get a 4G LTE model in early 2022, and it appears stock for that SKU is now beginning to appear online. AT&T is the first to stock the device, though we suspect more retailers and outlets will stock it soon.
It appears the cheaper 4G LTE model with an Intel Pentium GOLD chip isn’t available for sale yet. So far, it’s just the Intel Core i3 model, which explains the high price tag. Microsoft intends to sell a $499 model with 4G LTE at some point soon as well, for those who don’t need the extra power and would rather save a few bucks.
