Announced today in an email, Microsoft is set to hold a Digital Difference media event in NYC on April 26th. Featuring great dialogue and insights around advancements in several major areas, including health, retail, transportation, robotics, sports fan engagement and consumer goods, the event will highlight an array of global companies and digital start-ups, sharing how they are using technology to create new business models and products.

Judson Althoff, Executive Vice President at Microsoft, and Abbie Lundberg, a researcher at Harvard Business Review (HBR), will speak at the event. Planned discussions include how industries and organizations are being transformed not just in the way they operate, but in the impact that they have across the globe. We’ll be attending, so be sure to keep it tuned to OnMSFT for all the details as it unfolds live in New York City.

Radu Tyrsina has been a Windows fan ever since he got his first PC, a Pentium III (a monster at that time).

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
