After picking upsubtasks support two months ago, Microsoft To-Do will soon let users share lists with friends or coworkers. As spotted by developerTero Alhonen, Microsoft explained on the support page for the task manager app that List Sharing would roll out to all platforms in June, and you can see how it works in the image below.

Sharing a list with someone in Microsoft To-Do will require you to generate a link, just like you do for sharing files or folders with OneDrive. Users who get access to the shared list will be able to view and modify its content, but list owners will stay in control and be able to turn off the share link at any moment.

“This update will begin rolling out to Microsoft To-Do for iOS, Android, Windows 10 and the web in early June,” the company said on the support page, adding that all users should have it mid-June. List Sharing is currently the top-requested feature on thededicated UserVoicewebsite, ahead of Outlook Mail integration and Priority levels. Wunderlist, another task manager app from Microsoft had this feature for years, so it will be nice to see To-Do finally catch up next month.
