Microsoft hasannouncedlast week that it will publish its fiscal year 2017 Q2 financial results on Thursday, January 26, 2017. The company’slast earnings reporthighlighted cloud strengths with Azure revenue up 116%, but this time Surface revenue may well be an area of focus for Microsoft watchers following the holiday season.
Indeed, the Redmond giant announced last month thatSurface family had its best sales month ever in November, emphasizing the success of its trade-in program for MacBooks. Additionally, Microsoft sawhigh demand for its Surface Hub digital whiteboardand its newSurface Studio all-in-one PCover the last few months, so we’ll see if this momentum will be reflected in Surface revenue. However, we don’t expect the company’s FY2017 Q2 earnings report to bring some good news about Windows Phone revenue, but that probably shouldn’t surprise anyone.
As usual, the company will hold a live webcast of the earnings conference call on January 26 and you can count on us for reporting the most interesting bits.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
