Two years ago,Microsoft completed the acquisition of Revolution Analytics, to bring big data analytics “to everyone.”Today, Microsoft releases R Open 3.3.2, bringing a more “enhanced distribution of open source R,” updating language for big data analytics.

R is an open-source programming language and software environment used for statistical computing and graphing applications.According to Wikipedia, R language is used “among statisticians and data miners for developing statistical software and [used for] data analysis.” The R software environment source code is written in C, Fortran, and R, and is available free under a GNU General Pubic License.
