We’re now just a few months away from the release of theXbox One X, but many enthusiasts are already wondering when Microsoft will open preorders for the new console. Last week, we spotted that Microsoftupdated the Xbox One X store listingwith an invite to follow the Microsoft Store Twitter account for pre-order details, and we also learned that the consolemay have just passed FCC clearance.

Today, Xbox head Phil Spencer confirmed that gamers won’t have to wait much longer to pre-order the console. Answering a question about the subject on Twitter, the exec shared that “all approvals are done,” and the team is now working on the official announcement (viaWindows Central):

Our plan is set for this.  All approvals are done so now just landing the announce with all the info, won’t be too much longer.
