If you run the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update on your computer and you use the pen on a daily basis, you should actually refrain from installingKB4093112. As we reported in a previous post, many Windows 10 users said that the latest patch caused variouspen issuesespecially on Surface devices runningPhotoshop. More specifically, when users work in Photoshop, instead of drawing, the pen drags the screen up and down, and only occasionally draws.

Following numerous user complaints, the Redmond giant finally acknowledged this problem. Microsoft updatedKB4093112’s official support pageadding a new known issue on the list:

After applying KB4093112, some users may experience unexpected panning or scrolling in certain apps while using the pen.

At the same time, the company also offered users a quick workaround to use until a hotfix is deployed. Here are the steps to follow to fix various pen issues on Windows 10 version 1709:

The good news is that Microsoft is working on a permanent fix which will probably be deployed on Patch Tuesday. So, until then, you can follow the troubleshooting steps listed above.

Unfortunately, thisis not the only bugaffecting the latest Windows 10 Fall Creators Update patch. KB4093112 is also affected by install issues, unresponsive USB ports, high CPU usage, restart loops and more.
