Skype is looking to attract podcasters with new “Content Creators” mode
In an effort to attract content creators, Microsoft islaunching a new feature on its Windows 10 and Mac apps, called the “Content Creators” mode. This mode will allow people to record and live stream calls, without the need for any additional software or expensive kit to do so.

Microsoft admits to “stale” Maps data, working on a fix
In a statement, Microsoft hasadmitted that its Maps API has stale data, laying blame on a bug that delays bringing the data over from HERE Maps to Bing.
We have been speeding up our data processing and expect an update to be available this summer. We continue to invest in our maps and will continue to enhance data freshness as we move forward. Hopefully, in the not too distant future, this type of delay will be a thing of the past.
OneDrive is getting new File Restore feature, ransomware protections with Office 365
Microsoft isadding more features to its OneDrive for Office 365 service, such as additional security features to protect against ransomware, but now it is also adding a File Restore feature. The File Restore feature will allow users to restore their entire OneDrive to any point in time up to the last 30 days.
