Microsoft releases security patch for Windows Server 2003, Windows XP and Windows 8 to patch WannaCrypt exploit

Following the recent global cyber attack, which made use of an exploit in Windows, Microsoft has unexpectedlyreleased a patch for unsupported versions of its operating systems, including Windows Server 2003, Windows XP and Windows 8, with later versions having already had a patch available since March.

Microsoft Rewards “coming soon” to the UK

This week, On MSFT discovered thatMicrosoft is planning to finally bring its Microsoft Rewards scheme to the UK.

Microsoft announces that Windows Server is joining the Windows Insider Program

At Build 2017, Microsoftannounced that Windows Server will be joining the Windows Insider program, potentially offering Windows Server admins to try out upcoming changes early, as well as to provide their feedback to Microsoft.

Microsoft launches Skype video bots, bot payments, more at Build 2017

Skype got a few mentions at this years Build, with most of it focused on Skype Bots. The companyannounced that Skype Bots will be coming to video calls, as well as adding support for taking payments. Additionally, Skype Bots will be able to be used as a live chat system for offering support via websites, as the company will be releasing embeddable web controls for the platform.
