Wall St Journal gets pounded after suggesting finance pros drop Excel

the Wall Street Journal recently published a storyaccusing Microsoft Excel of not keeping up with the needs of the financial sector, and subtly advising people to drop the software as a result. That, however, didn’t go down too well with some people in the financial sector.

Inbox ads spotted in Outlook.com, are you seeing them?

For free users of Microsoft’s hosted email service, Outlook.com, it appears that the company isbeginning to show inbox ads, where ads will appear in the inbox similar to how an email message would look. Those on an ad-free premium subscription do not see these.

Microsoft Teams Guest access for Microsoft Accounts is delayed again, apparently

Microsoft Teams’Guest Access feature is still being worked on, with yet another delay, although Private Channels are well underway. Guest access is needed for those who aren’t necessarily part of an organisation, but are doing work for them, such as a freelancer.
