It’s now been a year since Microsoft launched itsSurface Hubdigital whiteboard in select markets last year, and the Redmond giant is already seeing strong interest from business users. Today, the companyannouncedthat 15 new resellers have joined its Surface Hub partner programme, emphasizing the “huge demand” for the device in the UK.

“The 15 new partners all have extensive experience in working with audio, visual and communications solutions, but will also benefit from Microsoft support in sales and deployment of Surface Hub to customers,” explained the company. In the UK, the collaboration device has already been adopted by high profile instutions such as the University of Bristol.

“The Surface Hub is currently being used by more than 2,000 customers in 24 markets across the world, up from 500 customers last July,” added the company. This is a significant milestone for this brand new device category, and the expansion of the company’s Surface Hub partner programme seems to be exactly what the company needs to do to drive adoption among business users.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
