After one interesting Monster Energy Supercross event at the Century Link Field in Seattle, Kawasaki’s Eli Tomac managed to cut down on Red Bull Motocross’ Ryan Dungey’s points lead, leaving the event with a tie for the top spot atop 450SX points standings. While the most focus was on these top two riders, eagled-eyed Supercross fans might have noticed that a new sponsor entered the sport right as the series visited Microsoft’s hometown of Seattle. Indeed, that sponsor is Microsoft, as the company has entered a sponsorship withRCH Racingin the top class of the Monster Energy Supercross series (via mxvice.com)
Details on the deal with RCH Racing are not immediately clear, butsome posts from the team on social mediahave shown that Microsoft logos are present on the various parts of the team’s dirt bikes. The team also posted on Facebook about the sponsorship, remarking that, “rchracing is proud to announce our new partnership with @microsoft. Continue to check social this week to see how you can be a part of the digital transformation through Virtual Reality & Surface”

Otherposts circulating on social mediashow that Microsoft had a booth in the team’s pit at the Seattle Supercross event, showing off the power of Surface and Mixed reality. The “Digital Transformation Station” featured 2 VR experiences, 2 Xbox gaming stations, and 1 Surface Studio Art Station.
RCH Racingfields Broc Tickle’s #20 Eagle/Jimmy John’s/Suzuki Factory Racing RM-Z450 and Jake Weimer’s #12 RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John’s/Suzuki Factory Racing bike. The team is a part of the premier 450SX Class in the Monster Energy Supercross series and competes on 450cc four-stroke motorcycles against the other top riders.
